Investigation Agent
Minimum Qualifications
- US citizenship required.
- All applicants must successfully complete an in-depth interview, prior to employment, to determine an applicant's suitability, which includes, but is not limited to, the person's appearance, personality, maturity, temperament, background, and ability to communicate.
- Minimum of five years experience as an investigator with a federal, state or local law enforcement or investigative agency.
- (1) Minimum: High school diploma or GED equivalent; (2) Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or (3) and equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Must not have a history of criminal or improper personal conduct that may affect suitability as an investigator. (Complete background investigation.)
- Excellent physical health with no disabling physical or mental condition. (Examination of physical fitness, emotional, and mental conditions.)
- Reading and Writing Ability. Be able to read and write at the levels necessary to perform the job. (Written Exam).
- Ability to exercise tact, initiative, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and judgment in collecting facts, evidence, and other pertinent data.
- Strong interviewing skills. Ability to analyze and evaluate facts; make sound, objective assessments; and, where appropriate, make constructive recommendations.
- Ability to deliver clear, concise, accurate, and factual summaries of the results of an investigation, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work with others as a team and to accept supervision and direction from superiors.
- Valid Class C driver's license.
